Established in 1956 by its Founder and Patron, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary, non-competitive programme of practical cultural and adventurous activities.

It is designed to support the personal and social development of young people aged 14-25, regardless of gender, background or ability. The Award offers an individual challenge and encourages young people to undertake exciting, constructive, challenging and enjoyable activities in their free time. Participants complete their achievement and attain their Award by their 25th birthday. Bronze, Silver and Gold

St Pauls Explorers currently work towards various stages of the Award. We encourage the Explorers to take part as it brings people together to work as a team not just within our Explorer Unit but County and SW wide.

If you would like to get more infomation on the Award Scheme go to www.theaward.org or contact the Us via phone or email.
